Rem is an absolutely beautiful cat. She is tiny and will never grow any larger than a kitten. She is one of the most affectionate and loving cats you will ever meet. If you pick her up and cradle her in your arms she will reach her paws out and touch your face and purr.
I refer to this piece as my tragedy piece. I had been working on it all day in the studio and was loving how it was turning out when I had to take a phone call. I had loosely closed the studio door when I left it, not knowing that my boyfriend had let our pet ferret Gir out for some play time. Long story short when I came back the piece was on the floor covered in dirty paint water, soda, and "painted/stamped" ferret footprints. Gir was standing next to it looking proud and covered in paint! It had to have been one of the cutest and most frustrating moments of all time. I of course cleaned the ferret up first, then spent hours trying to fix the damage that had been done. I ended up loving the challenge and the piece. I consider it a collaborative work made by me and my ferret Gir!
